as for the thread, if pac takes his training seriously, i think he can still be an elite figther. he's been slacking off big time on his training the last few years and it has showed.
No, he's just been off of his "help" and now realizes he's nothing without it.
His career is ending, age is catching him up. He's still an elite fighter and I would favor him above almost anyone at 147, but it's easy to see that he only has a few fights left if he doesn't want to end up like Roy Jones Jr.
Also it's important to see how he looks in his next fight, especially since KOs like the one he received against Marquez can take something out of a boxer.
He is done,it's very hard to recover and come back from a KO like that..pac is not the fighter he once was..he won against bradley yes but it was a close fight..he lost the 3rd marquez fight tho...he was fed with weight drained damaged goods for a while now so we can't really tell how and for how long he has been a damaged good himself.
But combining all these things, his style of fighting, his age, the amount of fights he has fought, the wars he has been in, and the monstrous KO he is coming back from, lead me to believe that his best days are over.
I still think he has a good shot at beating anybody at 140-147 not named Marquez.

Or Mayweather.
Ill put it this way anyone who fights Pac next is a cherry picker, Pac is a gatekeeper now.
He hasn't been the same in years everyone with eyes seen him slip, his hunger is no longer there, and his physicality is no longer there. He just doesn't have the hunger anymore, he should retire, Marquez will KO him again.
sadly I see Pacman going the way of Roy Jones Jr. fighting several more fights for smaller money in front of small crowds.

I made a thread on NSB that basically asked if anybody else thought that JMM would stop Pac in the championship rounds.
It got deleted. Not sure why.
What I'm saying is, just because a top 3-5 P4P fighter, that has given Pac hell in three previous fights knocks him out with a PERFECT right hand in the 6th round, doesn't necessarily equate Manny to becoming a "gatekeeper".

I predicted JMM would KO Manny and people laughed.
But I tell you this, Pacman couldn't even hurt Marquez in the 3rd and 4th fights. Marquez hurt Pac easy.
Pacman is done, he is a step stone or gate keeper right now. His legs a done, he can't take a punch, and he has no more power. His speed left and his power was from speed so when he couldn;t thorw with full force speed he lost his power.
