There are three amateur boxers who each won 3 gold medals. One of them turned pro and when already signed for a title fight, was forced by his government to retire. He retired unbeaten with 27 wins. He was awarded by WBC the Best Amateur and Professional Boxer in the world of all time, in 1989, and is in the IBHOF. He was a middleweight and only 5' 5" tall.

As an amateur he scored 55 first round KO's in an era when boxers had no head gear and a KO was really a KO.

So the question of who is the best amateur boxer of all time is not as easy to answer as you seem to think.

Rigo doesnt just have a chance to beat Donaire, he has a very good chance to beat Donaire, and vice versa. This fight could go either way.

Rigo's over confidence will get him KO'd.

This is going to be an exciting fight. I am completely new to watching present boxing but I like both of them and its going to suck watching one lose...

Especially I am half Filipino and half Cuban African American lol.
