The only let down will be Rigo! Coz Donaire will want a Knockout! If it's too early, Rigo will be reduced to be a Hyped job. If rigo runs, it will be boring in losing. If rigo fights a little bit and exchanges with Donaire, then we could be treated for a Great fight! Let's Pray this happens.

      They're probably Cuban.

What ur not seeing was Donaire is master of his Craft! He's like Floyd. Like JMM. He's a studied boxing very well! He's supposed to be in the Olympics & not Villoria. He could've been an Olympic Gold medalist also. Undefeated & 30-0 as a Pro in 12 yrs. you can fit 3 gold medals there in 12 yrs. And u cant name any fighters he should have fought off from 112-122 in all those yrs.

Now he's fighting the last one in Rigo. Rigo who's shown his weak chin in 11 fights. That's all u need to know about Rigo!

Funny, I got the opposite effect last night when I checked out another boxing site I like. While I prefer Boxingscene, I consider the other place (the Boxrec forums) a little more serious. There was a thread where something like 19 out of 22 people picked Donaire to win. I'm not a "follow the crowd" sort of guy, but I have to admit that it didn't make me feel good. Even the most self-assured among us tend to wonder what we're missing when too many people disagree.

I can't believe we never got to see Pacquiao and Floyd go at it.

I think the undercard is horrible because they want gauge how many viewers Donaire can pull in without a solid undercard supporting the main event.

The guys at my barber shop are all saying Donaire is going to win except for 1 barber that boxed as an amateur. I've been going at it with them for several weeks now but haven't been shaken in my belief that Rigo will win.

I see a big upset but may the best man win.

Damn I can't wait for this fight. It's 50/50 imho. I like rigo but donaires power can end the fight at any moment. Still going with rigo to box smart and get a decision.

I think Rigo has a good shot to win this fight, but I've favored Donaire slightly from the start. I would be elated if Guillermo pulls the upset, but I think Nono has to be the favorite. I'm impressed that the odds are currently, as far as I know, 3-1. They might get tighter as fight time approaches.

What concerns me most isn't Donaire's power, it's whether Rigo can clearly outpoint him. Robberies are commonplace in boxing. To give the "fair-haired child" a close decision is almost a given.

Ward vs Dawson wasn't that long ago was it? Or Donaire vs Nishioka (admittedly Nishioka showed up for the paycheck but on paper it was a big deal)

Or Ioka vs Yaegashi was pretty big deal too.

Can't speak for Ward, but Ioka and Nishioka didn't generate nearly the kind of interest Nono-Rigo has. It's not for nothing that a sports journalist from ESPN has written a piece about the anticipation for this fight.
