Serious Question about Mayweather regarding the new Documentary...

I just watched the new Showtime Floyd docu "30 days in May", and I was very surprised that Showtime obviously filmed Floyd during and after the Cotto fight, which took place almost exactly a year ago. They filmed him while he was taking a shower after the Cotto fight and also after he got released from jail. And of course during the 30 days in May 2012 (which is the title of the docu).
My question is: did Showtime film all this? Or did HBO film it and Showtime later used (maybe bought) the footage?
Was the Showtime deal with Floyd already (basically) done at that time (which is a year ago)?

It was filmed by another crew, and then it was sold to Showtime, Showtime edited it, blurred out stuff, and cut other stuff out of it, they gave Showtime hours of footage and its funny they included the stripper scene, that was just weird.

Its funny Floyd said HBO had something against him, well Showtime actually made him look horrible, they made him look ****** and trashy and like a womanizer.

HBO never did that. This the first time I ever heard Floyd say something about having a lot of women and open relationship

Thanks for info. Didn't know an independent film crew would film him without a reason. I would think the docu was already planned at that point.

Floyd was credited as Executive Producer so obviously he oversaw the whole thing.

Jackson Nguyen (credited as a director) however has worked as a producer on 24/7 episodes since 2008. Todd Crites (editor and director) worked on ESPN's 30 for 30 series.

i think its standard nowadays that there are 2 seperate en****** that film big fights. you have the HBO broadcast. then you have the "international" or "web" feed broadcast that has different announcers.

I get that why they would censor anything that said HBO but why censor Reebok? Was it because 50 Cent has a clothing line under Reebok? That's some serious butthurt right there.

One thing I noticed that I found interesting was this.....

It doesn't even seem, from footage (obviously in real life it could, and most likely is, different) it seems like Floyd and his fiance Shantel don't really seem like a couple, or don't show too much love toward one another. It could just be because the camera's are around and everything, but still it's weird to me. He was showing the strippers and other women more love it seemed than her, and I find it hard to believe a woman would be alright with that. But hey....
