Nicely done butter man! Complaining is a much better route to take instead of going out and actually proving ur worth.... demand not earn another shot on HBO...

The job of any professional fighter is to be professional by at least making weight. HBO wasn't only thrilled by his overweight issue but he ******. Earn that next HBO date like Willie Nelson has.

So you wanna be a star?

Puerto Rican fighters go to Bob Arum (Cotto and Calderon)

Mexican fighters go to Oscar Del Hoya (Canelo and Angulo)

The rest of the up-and-comers from P.R. have been proving their worth by, at the very least, putting up spirited fights against decent opposition. Not saying that he hasn't tried but, him being over weight for his HBO debut did not help him at all. Earn your f****** shot man! Go fight somewhere else and earn your f****** shot like Tito and Gomez who, at one point or another, while building their careers went and fought in other countries. Quit blaming Shaw, Margoules and Bustillo for your f*** ups!

They both make good points. Gonzales ****ed up his opportunity when it most mattered, but Gary Shaw is a crappy promoter that isn't willing to risk and invest any of his own money. He gets casinos to give him site fees so he doesn't have to do any work selling tickets.

Angulo would be an immediate test. I'd make that deal.

What a waste, he looks like he has good boxing instinct it was surprising how lazy in the ring he is. In his wins he looks effortless and in his losses he looks effortless - that's what I've gotten from him so far. Fights with a flat tire on his feet and a spare tire around his gut...yet it still appears that he sees everything in the ring.

Sergei was there for the taking....and it was on HBO...Vera had to do it on ESPN, what's he blaming Shaw for.
