This^^^, it was very reminiscent if MC Hammer and his entourage, especially the dude who ran Mayweather Music. Has one album/song come out on that label? I wonder how much dude gets paid.

100% agree with the bold. LLS cause I would be like this if either of them walked by me on the street.

I thought it was pretty good. There were some funny parts. "Can you punch my wife in the face" got a genuine LOL outta me.

I thought the way they tried to make Floyd's jail time out to be some horrid sentence was really, really cheesy.

I thought Floyd talking about these other women, and Shantel just being like "He young", spoke volumes about their relationship. He has her for arm candy. She has him for money.

Shane shorty is overrated within the boxing community. She cute but she aint drop dead like everybody making her out to be.

                1. 50 Cent's face being blurred was hilarious

                2. R.I.P. Omar Henry. Was strange seeing him in the film knowing he's gone.

                3. It's been known that Ms. Jackson is purely arm candy/vagina for hire.

                4. The doc wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be but was still entertaining

                5. I think HBO would have done 5x better

                6. I know the focus was his upcoming jail sentence, but I would have liked to see more about his actual fight preparation/training.

                7. There has been too much convo in this thread about his shower scene

                8. I truly wonder if Floyd has ANYBODY around him that isn't there for their own gain in some sort of way

                9. Take away the persona and Floyd is probably a fairly boring and corny dude who is simply dedicated to his craft. This isn't a knock really because it's apparent that his dedication to boxing is not just a phrase, it's his lifestyle.

                10. Didn't know Floyd was so real about his dealings with multiple women

                11. Shane Mosley's girl Bella > Ms. Jackson. And it ain't even close.

                12. I still can't get used to seeing Floyd on Showtime yet.
Agree with all your points bar the HBO bit. After the increasingly rigid and boring trajectory of their 24/7 type shows I think it might even have been worse. One thing HBO don't do anymore is scratch beneath the surface, it's formulaic, predictable stuff for the most part. Showtime at least made an effort and have put out a more natural portrayal of their fighters in the past.

Your 9th point is a good one as well. Floyd doesn't really have any interests beyond boxing and buying stuff. And five 24/7 series plus an hour long documentary is a long time for him to talk about the stuff he's bought. The guy is over-exposed given how much he has to say. That's not his fault, that's just the way it is.

I don't know why we never hear him talking about the thing he knows most about, boxing, in any of these shows. Networks seem to be terrified that audiences will have no interest in lengthy discussions on the actual craft itself. I don't know if this is true, it's not in my case at least.

How can a guy with such a depth of expertise have this kind of platform for this long, and never really talk about the area he's an expert in. It's pretty sad, and it's a waste.

Meh...it was ok. Nothing new or out of the ordinary. He went to jail for 90 days but damn they really drove it home.

To the bold PBF from what I have seen most times pride won't let him do that. I mean in interviews people ask who he would most like to fight from back in the day fighters or who he liked when he was a kid and he finds a way to bring it back to himself. Like he never had a fighter who he really liked or looked up to when he was growing up. I don't like that sh!+ at all. I mean we have pride and are vain but damn dude saying you grew up liking so so fighter is not going to steal your shine and thunder or showing too much respect to said fighter.

Then you can get him in another interview and he will name a few fighters he liked. It leaves you sitting there like WTF wondering why he just can't say that in all interviews when he asked the same damn question.
