Arrogance is a quality that we all have to some extent. Besides, how can you achieve what Floyd has and not be atleast a little ****y.

He may come across arrogant sometimes but I think he is humble too....His ****iness has a warrant to it though unlike other people. And I honestly do not think he is TOO overly ****y.

He tries to get in his opponent's head a lot, and will do things for shock value. He is very smart...

To be honest, I think his arrogance is a veneer for his overwhelming insecurity.

Regardless, I was just taking issue regarding the idea that the reason he is disliked is because people are jealous, many simply do not like his behaviour, he doesn't come across well.

There are however, boxers that I like more, and I still wanna see Guerrero beat him when they fight in May just to stir up the boxing world.

He is giving us the fight we most wanted to see now (or I did I'll speak for myself) in him vs Robert Guerrero. Gave us the fights we most wanted to see the last few times out too.

I bet you he fights the winner of Canelo vs Trout next or some other fight with high relevance. I dont really think he ducks people.

I doubt he fights trout if trout wins. I was a huge Mayweather fan due to his skill set. But at this point. I'm eager for a major fight. Canelo or Martinez. Those are the only 2 fighters at the moment that I really wanna see Floyd fight. and the winner of the Peterson,Khan,Garcia,matthysse tournament. I would even be executed for him to fight Bradley but we know that's out of the question due to

I think you need to take into account the fact that a lot of people find an obsession with material possessions to constitute a pretty shallow existence, and that people are put off by individuals who can talk about nothing else. It's all just 'stuff', very nice stuff that we'd all love to have, but stuff all the same.

I haven't been too fond of Robert Guerrero's public utterances in the lead-up to this fight, but his comment that Floyd's god is money, that money is what he worships was right on the mark. At least in terms of Floyd's public persona. And after watching '30 Days in May' it seems like there really isn't much more going on with the guy.

It is interesting that some people buy into this idea that money and possessions is everything though, that they can't even see why a lot of people would dislike it and find it to be grotesque or ignorant. Says something about the celebrity culture of our age.

I don't know if some people don't like Floyd because they're jealous of all his stuff, it's possible. But I'd be willing to be that an equal number dislike him because they find the whole Money Mayweather thing to be classless and cringeworthy. A matter of personal perspective I guess.

It is has just reinforced my belief that Floyd Mayweather is really one of the coolest motha-fu_kas that ever did it in boxing and not just boxing, in life. The reason a lot of people dont like him is because they know they can never be like him, so they are jealous. You know that is true too if you dont like Floyd, deep down inside you know that is true.

Theres no shame in it though, because Floyd is one in a billion, so just admit it. The man does what he wants to do for a living which is box, and is great at it, has a ****in wife, beautifull house, nice kids, the man is living his life. Just live yours and be happy for him.

Still want Guerrero to beat him though but this definitely helped me like Floyd more.
