Rios is a very good fighter, has a rock solid chin and likes to fight wars of attrition. The last thing Pac needs is a war, even if he does find Rios easy to hit he is going to have to get hit a lot himself for however long the fight lasts. Did any of you idiots see what happened to Manny in his last fight?(I am of course being sarcastic here as I know that at least 5 of you here have probably **********d over the replay enough times to endanger your eyesight).

Rios isn't landing anything if you aren't stood infront of him. Pacquiao stays off the ropes and it's an easy win for him.

My point was the obvious one that Manny knows he isnt the fighter he was and is coming back from a devastating KO loss. He will most likely have some confidence issues and want to test the water...Rios is not the guy to do that with, and apart from the non throwing, pedestrian Clottey(who still managed to bash Manny up when he did throw), when was the last fight he didnt get hit a bunch? When did he become slick? Marquez even managed to stick him on his ass with a telegraphed overhand right!

A Rios fight would go a similar way to the Pacquiao-Margarito fight. The only time Margarito landed anything meaningful was when Pacquiao decided he wanted to be a ****** and to show how tough he was by letting Margarito hit him.

His next opponent wont be Rios. It will be either a fight that can generate a massive payday or a softish touch for a fairly decent payday. Rios falls into neither category.

as a pac fan this wont do it for me, but being realist about pacs situation..this would be the likely scenario.
The rios fight looks good, but applicable only to the pac of yesterday, not pac 2013. still an interesting angle to look at though.
