I see what your saying but how will it be an upset, Calzaghe has been a World Champion for 9 years, he has defended his title 18 times and is unbeaten!

OK, he has not had a Super Fight but IF Calzaghe beats Lacy then it will be a great win but not an upset, its not as if Joe has come from the unknown or is new, he's had 40 fights, 40 wins and 31 KO's and has been around at the top level for over 10 years!

I'll buy myself a case of Champagne to celebrate if Hatton beats Mayweather. Lets hope you get a chance to dance that jig.

Calzaghe vs Lacy is a pick'em as far as i'm concerned.

Thats why I said I saw your point!

Just because many (mostly Americans) say Lacy will easily beat Calzaghe doesn't mean it will happen, Calzaghe is class, for me that is undisputable however Lacy looks a great fighter so we will see.

I cant remember the last time a fighter will be entering a fight with the kind of momentum that Jeff Lacy has...

It is the reason why this fight is a upickem/slight slight lean towards Lacy....

No one should be surpised if Joe goes out and wins this fight-Im betting on him winning this fight. (the bet was made nearly 3 years ago and I must honor it)

Obviously everyone knows who I want to win but I think it will be a very good fight and probably Both fighters biggest test so it should be very interesting but I just think my boy is too relentless he is going to prove his heart and metal in this fight.

As a Lacy fan, I am biased as well, but people shouldn't make light of Calzaghe. He is an excellent fighter. At the same token, if you haven't watched "Left Hook" box, you need to. Too many people think he's just a power puncher lookin to land one big shot... not so. He is a very good boxer, and inevitably should beat Calzaghe, but if it's over in three rounds, I'll be very surprised. I look for this to be a very good fight, and I hope Lacy KO's him, because I fear that the judges will give it to Calzaghe if it's close. I don't think Calzaghe will back out this time, but if he does, he's obviously dodging.
