      WTF is up with this??

Benn had tonnes of natural talent (possibly more than anybody who has ever boxed) and is a dead cert for the HOF.

BBP, PLEASE, I BEG you, ban JuyJuy's ISP and do us all a favour. There are at least FOUR JuyJuy accounts currently on a spam campaign.

Impossible, I have a dynamic IP.

You can't only ban the first five digits, you can only ban a whole IP address. But only my first five digits remain the same every time I dial-up

This kind of thing (creating an alt to argue with-yourself) does not deserve a banning.
It deserves our concern......& the creator deserves therapy.

If that is the case then I can only assume that somebody (Anorak?) has got hold of my IP and is using a proxy. Sick ****.

You say British level? I say that being in the WBC top 10 in just your second year as a pro is far from being just British level, wouldn't you say so? I remember when Frank Warren had to go to Africa at the start of 1989 to search for an opponent for Nigel after 15 top American and European middleweights refused the opportunity of fighting him, I suppose it was because he was British level. It had nothing to do with that, other than Tyson, he was probably the most feared fighter out there. No, nothing to do with that.

I suppose a British fighter winning the World title in America and defending it, in America, is British level is it? How about winning the WBC title and defending it nine times, like Tyson did. How about climbing back into the ring after 30 seconds to beat a Gerald McClellan who Emanuel Steward described as "the most talented fighter I ever had" and who an incarcerated Mike Tyson described as "the best fighter in the world". British level? You decide.

Nigel deserves all the credit in the world for entertaining us the way he did, I've never had the privelege of sitting ringside for a more exciting fighter. We'll never forget him in this country certainly. He could of boxed his way to the top using his skills and fought for years longer, but instead he entertained us like the bombastic barbarian he was.

No talent? No skills? Hang your head in shame. He joined his regiments boxing team when he was 18 and within days of starting boxing he was the best there and beat up all the heavyweights with ease, he had Duff and Lawless scouting him from the off. Then within months or even weeks of starting boxing he easily beat top Italian Giovanni DiMarco. He boxed as a welterweight in Army tourneys around Europe and never even lost a round in the Army.

Then he was in Miami in 1985 sparring with Duran and the Yanks there told him that his power, speed, accuracy and angles was even more impressive than Liston, Foreman, Ali, Leonard and Hagler of their early days. Maybe not the offensive arsenal of a Robinson or a Hearns, but Benn was special none the less.

Clinton, Howard, Danny and Robin would all admit that they were never in the same class as Benn.
                      Adios.
Damn! I learnt a hell of a lot, just from that post..

Post here more Bunce, we need more of this quality of post in my opinion.

And to the person who started the thread, was extremely ******. If it was JuyJuy, perhaps it was sarcasm? Perhaps he feels that not enough people give Benn and Eubank attention, so he would "go with the flow" to see who agree's and who disagree's...
