He does deserve it more, but it seems like HBO is pissed at him for beating Dulorme, a guy they were trying to hype up. He is fighting on the sergio undercard in Arg tho

What happened to Dulorme wasn't HBO's fault. It was his team and promoter's fault (I think it's Lou Dibella if I'm not mistaken). These second tier promoters don't have the luxury of taking their time with their fighters and grooming them for success because of their limited budget and having to take whatever bone Showtime/HBO throw at them so when they get their hands on a rough diamond like Dulorme, they're forced to cash him in with a veteran like Abregu hoping for the best instead of a natural steady progression in his career.

Dulorme is the type of fighter that if handled by a promoter like Top Rank can become a Cotto-like superstar.

Puerto Rico better get their **** together because right now we have not a single fighter that we can say will be our next superstar. Cotto burned out after the Margarito/Pacquiao losses. Juanma is an imature dumb @$$ with no discipline, and right now Mexico is the one making the power plays for the next Golden Boy via Canelo.

sounds alright to me. berto/soto-karass sounds like a fun fight to watch. if berto loses, i can't imagine where he'd go from there. perhaps the ortiz rematch cause it probably still makes money? especially with ortiz coming off 'dancing with the stars', who knows. thurman and chaves are two undefeated hard hitters, someone should get stopped or KO'ed in that fight. i have to watch more of chaves, but it'd be nice to see him pull it off. we can have another hard punching argentine mixing it up with the top guys in his division. it'll make for good fights. as for russell, the only thing i can say is he's wasting his time if it's another fighter of the same that he's been fighting.

They werent cashing him in, HBO was planning on making Dulorme a big hit, thats why they gave a prospect like him a main event on HBO against a guy that most people didnt think too highly of and didnt even fight on HBO or in the US in 2 years since losing to bradley. Most saw him as a typical raw powerful argentinian fighter that Dulorme should be able to outbox but as we all know that wasnt the case
