Looking ahead. What realistic plan does Floyd have?

Honestly what is Floyd and Showtime going to do? Is Showtime and the Floyd camp just hoping and praying that Canelo wins? I don't see Floyd fighting Trout if Trout wins. And Golden Boy says they are doing a little 140 lb tourney with the winner fighting Khan. Doesn't that only leave Floyd with the winner of Alexander/Brook? Would anybody want to see that?

So realistically what is the plan here?

The showtime deal has an out after the ghost fight. If he exercises the out he can go back to hbo or figght again at ahowtime. Until he makes the decision its hard to determine what he will do.

Look at Floyd's list of named possible opponents.

      Robert Guerrero
      Saul Alvarez
      Marcos Maidana
      Alfredo Angulo
      Danny Garcia
      Devon Alexander

I didnt know that. Thats pretty interesting. Does it also mean that Showtime have an out if mayweather were to lose or do bad numbers?

None of those opponents really do anything for me. Floyd really doesn't have much out there that I think a lot of people are really interested in seeing. I'd like to see him fight Martinez @ 154lbs but that won't happen.

If Pac/Marquez is really going to happen in September, Floyd has to fight Canelo. No other fight can compete with that one.

If Canelo loses, I wouldn't be surprised if he fights Amir Khan.

If Brook wins the title, Hearn will put him in a couple of easy fights to hype him up and he could maybe get the Mayweather shot late this year.

Maybe if showtime approve of it. The only fight im interested in seeing is maywether v canelo. GGG and Martinez both said they can make 154 but there is no way mayweather fights either of them. Mayweather struggles to make 154 and both those guys would out weight him by alot.

I dont even know how them other names on the list would sell. Angulo? Devon? not really exctiting. Not too many interesting names out there for may to fight that will grab the publics attention.

                    Floyd's plan:

                    1. Guerrero
                    2. Alexander
                    3. Khan
                    4. PEDerson
                    5. matthysse
                    6. Garcia

                    then Floyd retires

Showtime just got bamboozled for a sh-it laid of cash
