    Brandon Rios vs Fernando Vargas

Not in a fight but skillwise . Both are come forward pressure fighters with great power, heart, will and weight problems (fight night weight) plus a lot more similarities. Who do you reckon has more skill out of the two?

I say Vargas since he used his jab more and better defensively. On top of that he only lost to greats such as Tito Trinidad.

btw I think Brandon Rios chin is going to weaken soon like Vargas with all the clean shots he's getting hit with.

I don't remember him ever missing weight, but he did swell up to a fat ass between fights.

yeah that's what I meant. Had a hard time getting down but he made the weight even if it was a struggle.
Who do you reckon was the better boxer?

I think he already has. He got clearly wobbled at least 3-4x last weekend. Not saying his chin is shot, but his resistance is falling off a bit.

You can say that he lasted all 12, but that was on pure determination, and will. The man's an animal.

Vargas IMO. Vargas just fought Tito and ODH way before he was ready.

vargas was NOT a come forward, pressure fighter. he was a skilled boxer puncher. campas, quartey, winky and trinidad. watch those fights. vargas is by far superior to rios in skills.
