Anyone have an answer for why Boxrec took off the data of the fighters weights? Did it get to be too hard to keep track of or something? Thought it was a bit peculiar to see.....
Why did Boxrec take off fighters weights?

I was wondering the same thing today. My guess is promoters may have put pressure on them. What I mean by that is people look up fighters when they never heard of their name. When they see the weightclass they fought in previously they know if the fight is gonna be good or not because of the opponent they're facing. This is pure speculation and maybe just a wild guess, I think hahaComment

They were having problems because they have a huge database and there were too many people on at the same time causing the site to crash (like here in the past when there was a big fight on).
So some details such as a fighters' weight are now only able to be seen by members who log in.
Similarly, now when there's a big fight on, you have to log in to boxingscene.Comment
