Why did Boxrec take off fighters weights?

Anyone have an answer for why Boxrec took off the data of the fighters weights? Did it get to be too hard to keep track of or something? Thought it was a bit peculiar to see.....

I was wondering the same thing today. My guess is promoters may have put pressure on them. What I mean by that is people look up fighters when they never heard of their name. When they see the weightclass they fought in previously they know if the fight is gonna be good or not because of the opponent they're facing. This is pure speculation and maybe just a wild guess, I think haha

So they're holding back that feature so they can force you to sign in or they don't want that information to be readily available.

Make an account on boxrec and then sign in - then you will see the weights again.
I think they are updating their servers or something like that.

They were having problems because they have a huge database and there were too many people on at the same time causing the site to crash (like here in the past when there was a big fight on).

So some details such as a fighters' weight are now only able to be seen by members who log in.

Similarly, now when there's a big fight on, you have to log in to boxingscene.
