No chance would he KO Garcia. In fact, I'd see Garcia brutalizing him.

Donaire is already soft at 122, but I could see him going to 126 at some stage...he just wont be 'the man' in any division above 122. We'll have to wait until April to see if he's even the man at 122.

Donaire isn't soft at 122. In fact, he's kinda busting out of 122 and won't be surprised if he has a little issue making weight. He's going right to 126 after this fight. Donaire's power will transfer fine into 126 and he actually may be stronger. His speed and movement will still be in tact. If we're talking 130-135lbs, THAT'S a different story. Come fight night, people will see the overall size differential between Rigo and Donaire.

He's big at the weight, but he is still soft.

Donaire is always a little fleshy in the stomach area, that is why I believe Rigondeaux bodyshots will trouble him.

Gamboa is my guy, but he's going to struggle at 135 based on him not having the frame for it. Donaire will have similar problems at 130 and even 126 will be difficult for him.

Donaire will have problems at 126. Even if he can take power, his face is swelling and bruising way too easily at 122. That's a huge concern moving up. He's in his 30s. He's not jumping much further, and this probably is the last division he can be the man in.

Hope he smashes Rigo. Really looking forward to the fight.

I take it your a Gamboa fan and thats why you favor Rigondeaux over Donaire.

How good were those opponents that shook Rigo up from the weak left hooks they landed on him? If they got the punch in, how the hell could Donaire not? Hmmm???

                I am indeed.

That doesn't play a role in this fight though, I just prefer Rigondeux's game. I love his counter punching, footwork and all around technical brilliance.

I agree on all counts. It's there for all to see: Donaire looks soft at 122 and looked soft even at 118. Now, boxing isn't bodybuilding, but we're talking about a fighter's potential at certain weight-classes. To me, it seems fairly evident that Nonito is already pushing the envelope of his physical potential. Rigondeaux, who is physically smaller, is absolutely ripped at 122. If Donaire moves up to 126, he'll have a hard time competing against the top guys, let alone beating them.

I consider this to be a tremendous fight and very much a toss-up.
Yeah it's going to be a great fight, but Donaire's power will be too much for Rigo on April 13.

Rigo ain't no slouch. Nonito been knocking heads off and is more popular but Rigo is gonna present problems for Donaire.
