Freddie Roach Glorifies Guillermo Rigondeaux and Respects Nonito Donaire

This is what he had to say about Donaire and Rigondeaux fighting.

“I’d like to see him fight the Cuban to be honest, Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux's one of the best fighters I’ve ever trained technique-wise. He’s very skillful, he’s a great counterpuncher, and I think those two guys together would be a great fight. Working the mitts and stuff, when I’m trying to get shots in and show him his mistakes, seeing the openings and so forth, he’s the only fighter in the world that I’ve never hit once. I’ve never caught him. One time I was going to go to the body after a right hand and he stuck his elbow in there and bruised my arm for a month. I’ve never got to him in like six months of training,” declared Roach."
Roach is an offensive guru so if he couldn't hit Rigondeaux, that tells us how great of a defense Rigo has.

In a recent interview with Examiner.com , Freddie Roach talks about both Nonito Donaire and Guillermo Rigondeaux and how he is impressed with both fighters for their own abilities and achievements...

Which leads me to asking, what are the odds for this fight so far? I'm very interested to know.

If Rigondeaux fought anybody else, he would be the favorite. Nothing to take away from Rigo, but Donaire is one of the best ever to lace up them gloves and will show the whole world why he's P4P #1 Boxer right now.

Agree .. He should move up the p4p list if he beats rigo .. Then dominate 126 and 130then become no. 1 p4p

122 is as far as he goes.

126 has guys like Garcia who is too big for Donaire, he'd crush him.

Donaire would KO Mikey Garcia if they ever fought but they wont because they have the same trainer.

Well well see .. Coz donaire still looks big at 122 .. I believe he can dominate 126 then gain some natural weight and move to 130 .. I believe 126 and 130 is hes natural weight class where he can get some competition
