Big difference from getting hit and being hurt. None of those guys u mention was hurt. Even ortiz was smiling and got right up after Floyd sucker punch him. Ortiz was all smiles. If u wanna talk about being hurt try the ortiz vs Lopez now that's what u called being hurt lol!!!

Ortiz was hurt before Floyd hit him legally and Ortiz was not protecting himself at all times and after he had just rammed his head into Floyd's face. Floyd stung him earlier and hit him with a 3 or 4 punch combo. Ortiz was going to be KO'd in that fight one way or the other.

when a fighter stops throwing certain specific punches when fighting floyd its because he's getting hurt by the counters that are landing. you underestimate how much a precision punch you dont see coming hurts.

Floyd doesn't even think that, and nothing convinces me more that Pacquiao would beat Mayweather than Floyd's reluctance to take the fight.

Mayweather only takes fights that he thinks he'll win and if he doesn't believe he could beat Pacquiao, why should anyone else?

The JMM-Mayweather fight was garbage, send Floyd up to 160 to fight Martinez to see how he gets on and then come back and tell me how easy it was for JMM to move up in '09.

Your defining hurt as dazed and wobbled. Another sign of being hurt is the reluctance to throw specfic punches because the punches that you dont see and cant prepare for hurt more. There are body punches that hurt that dont daze or wobble.

You are only judging "hurt" with regards to power. Speed and precision also cause "hurt"-it just shows itself differently.

You compared being injured with being hurt. Ortiz got injured in the lopez fight and couldnt continue. You can fight through being hurt you cant fight if you are injured.
