I'm a fan of his and I do hope he is healthy along with his family. It saddens me to see one of my favorite boxing heroes ending his career in money debt and with physical damages. He was a true throwback boxer back in the day but he never got that big payday like Roy or even Bernard. Bernard has overshadowed him.

I have only followed Toney's boxing journey and not his private life but is he really in financial trouble? I read that the IRS held back his (biggest?) purse just before his fight in UFC against Randy but I don't know if it has been settled.

What is Toney's highest purse anyway? I think he got about $500k - 750k in UFC.

Toney is a fat ugly dude. Had he been fit I´m sure German TV had accepted him as an opponent for one of the Klitschkos. Toney for years looks like a little fat burger.Disgrace for the sport.

Very True, Unfortunate, and also disappointing.

People must realize its is Toneys fault not paying taxs, living a life style he could not continue, and he is paying for it.... We are not talking about the great Joe Louis who helped during the hardest time of the country's history, and then to be over looked. Louis did great things for his county, Toney hasn't don't anything outside of his boxing career.
