Not really funny at all. He doesnt make grown men rage, more like shake their heads. He does make his fans of adult age(yourself/bowelmovin/larryx/burrner etc.) act like ****** though, and that in itself provides scope for huge amounts of laughter and piss taking.

I used to dislike Floyd back in 05, 06 and 07. Then when he retired I missed him and watched his older fights more and began to really appreciate his skills. I really do not care what he/any other boxer tries to sell off as a "persona", I stay away from that side of Boxing and just tune in and enjoy the fights.

floyd's trash talk is done for his base fans as is froch's and rios'. while I respect your opinion its common that posters dont have a problem when a guy they like does the same thing as a fighter they dont. Like you they quantify it as "intelligent" trash talk. I think we can both agree all of carl's talk isnt intelligent.

As I said, talking some trash is all Carl does. He is FAR more intelligent than both Floyd and Brandon....actually, more intelligent than both combined and all in all, Froch carries himself with class.

Mayweather and Rios have a LOT of things to their name that are far worse than trash talk. Things done in very poor taste, things done that lead to arrests and things of that nature.

I regard Mayweather as the best fighter in the sport and I used to be a big fan of him in general, but what he turned into away from the ring is not something I like or support.

I would like him more actually. The money persona ruins him quite a bit. And a defeat would possibly be good for him. Seems like one of those guys who would work harder to never lose again.

I would probably like him more. His goofball attitude is what makes it so hard to sometimes defend him at all.

In comparison to Ward, I just simply enjoy watching Mayweather more than Ward.
