That sounds like Arum & team Pacquiao were thinking Rios victory was a sure thing(he was the heavy favorite) & already had plans & were setting things up for Pacquiao to face Rios next.. & of course Pacquiao & his team wouldn't mind facing Rios cause his style is perfectly made for Pacquiao to pick apart..Rios style is very similar to Margarito's, coming forward, little defense(at times practically none) taking 2,3 & 4 shots to get 1 or 2 in & Margarito was bigger & just as strong as Rios & look at what Pacquiao did to him & I think that the latest Pacquiao that got annihilated by Marquéz in his last fight will still pick Rios apart..

Totally agree with U! The same s h I T happened to Arum when he was milking the hell out of Juanma & Gamboa & when Salido KO'd Juanma, the Juanma/Gamboa fight went right out the window...

Pacquiao picks rios apart might be competitive at first but manny is way to fast for rios his defense is good but still man y is way too fast still I gotta believe Manny is sti in the picture with Marquez there's way too much money to be lost if it dosen't happen although if Marquez or pacquiao would fight rios it would generate a lot of money as well because they both would be entertaining.

Pacquiao beats Rios BLINDFOLDED! Because he cannot avoid punches...AT ALL, he eats every punch thrown at him but he did show a better Defensive Guard at times against Alvarado but still he gets hit A LOT

Rios was a good option for Pac or Marquez or even Bradley. The loss makes it less than a good option. He we go with the TR BS in they going to give you the fight they want to give you and not the deserving one
