    Alvarados Conditioning

Alvarados conditioning won him that fight last night! I thought for sure he was gonna burn out by the middle-later rounds because he was doing alot unecessary bouncing around and moving around that **** saps your energy like crazy. And obviously sticking to his camps fight plan got him the W too. Massive respect to mile high mike.

You should never question his conditioning. Alvarado's conditioning is always top notch that's why a lot of us say the first one was stopped prematurely. He shouldve been given a second chance. But he got it in the rematch and came thru. Of course training and living in Colorado helps. Rios is toast if they rematch in Colorado.

I think it was more-so the game-plan than his conditioning. He's shown in other fights that he has dependable conditioning, but the way he fought Rios in the first fight did him no favors. He absorbed a lot of unnecessary shots by not being defensively aware on the inside. Not only that, but he averaged 114 punches in 7 rounds, which is a ridiculous number for any fighter, let alone at 140. So he was taking lot of punches, throwing a lot of punches, and he wasn't clinching....a recipe for disaster against a pressure fighter like Rios who depends on his own ability to take whatever you throw at him. Alvarado abused his ability to take punishment in the first fight and wound up not being able to take advantage of his superb conditioning.

Great conditioning, he was able to maintain whereas Rios dropped off and was hurt because of it. I just can't believe how much punishment Rios is capable of taking and still moving forward. He was getting absolutely drilled with those right hand bombs and he never went down. The guy is like a Neanderthal or something (referencing his brute abilities), a complete savage.

Yea I was very impressed with his stamina. He looked very fresh in the 12th round. Never slowed down despite the torrid pace. I think that not letting rios tee off on him made a big difference meanwhile rios ate one overhand right after another and slowed down in the later rounds. Rios punches did not have any sting in the second half of the fight.

training in denver has to be a hell of an advantage, my friend went hiking in colorado and told me as soon as he landed he had to check his breath every 5 seconds
