I personally think he can compete with Ward. We know his opponents are "good boys" but is he a "good boy"?

          Tell that to Golovkin.

Hes the one that coined the phrase.

He might have some kind of preverse opponent fantasy...

The history of boxing is littered with 'good boys' who fight a 'good man' and find themselves out of their depth.

Don't get too ahead of yourself. Let's see Golovkin get some genuine contenders into the ring, then you can talk about Ward with a semblance of credibility.

Margarito and Paul Williams were once hugely avoided, they got their break, if Golovkin keeps getting wins, I'm sure he will too.

He needs to beat Martinez before we know about Ward. Obviously anybody should strongly favor Ward.

GGG has the power to put Sergio on his ass like Williams and Chavez Jr. But in one shot power GGG definitely would test his chin to a new limit.

Sergio is scrappy though with solid skills and good defense at a steady work rate. 50-50 fight. Sergio could outwork and outpoint him like he did to Chavez, but if GGG lands on clean shot its over.
