    • Since GGG's next fight is supposedly on HBO, who does everyone think he will be fighting? I think he'll be fighting Bursak next.

            He murdered that boy.

But Ishida committed 2 cardinal sins for a taller fighter.

            1. Backed straight up
            2. Stood straight up

            Horrible defense, technique.
he went for the slip of the cross because he didn't want to get cornered. He didn't expect it right over the top. His decision was sound, but Gannady knew that's how he was going to move and just threw it into him. You don't know **** about boxing because how it ended wasn't even a bad move on Ishida's part. He'd make most fighters look dumb in that situation.

Ganndy is also a master at cutting off the ring, I haven't seen a fighter who can get around it. It's oldschool and it still works. It's probably the best aspect of his game.

Let's see what he says after he receives the juicy offer from HBO.

It was a bad move but that's how he always fights. Just like Khan, these guys don't make specific mistakes they just have poor defense.

LOL Whatever dude. His defense and technique were horrible in that moment. Bad habits die hard.

Dibella also promotes both Vera and Macklin, so it's more likely that it'll happen over GGG/Vera.

If you told me his defense was lacking before the KO I'd 100% agree with you. He wasn't ready for Gannady's speed and he wasn't ready for the time changes Gannady was constantly throwing at him. He tried to make himself Smaller but he couldn't utilize the stance because of the speed difference. When he stood up he put his legs apart to make himself smaller again, and try to keep him out with power shots, this is what a guy like Vitali or Wladimir Klitschko would do, but nobody says that have bad defense now do they? You just watched the fight as a fan, and that's fine, I did too, but I can recognize the decisions these guys make. Ishida was simply outclassed and didn't know what was coming next. When he tried to make the adjustments Gannady was ahead of him. Gannady is an amazing fighter, and Ishida is just good. There's a huge difference in talent, and ring IQ when it comes to these guys. Gannady's ring generalship meant more in this fight than Ishida's length and adjustments. It's not like Ishida wasn't trying different things either, he just was against a better opponent.
