FAO: DirectTV Customers who don't have HBO

Direct tv is currently having a free trial for HBO which started today and ends on the 1st. Meaning you'll be able to watch Rios-Alvarado instead of some stream.

I'm in Texas, idk if they're having it everywhere so check to be sure, it's already working for me. Also getting Cinemax...

Why would anyone go to the trouble of a sattelite service and not have HBO?
