Comments Thread For: Kendall Holt Seeks To Clear His Name, Move On

Kendall Holt is a fighter through and through. Like any prideful warrior, he is prepared to climb off the canvas, dust himself off and fight on.

The former 140 lb. titlist was informed on Thursday that a drug test submitted following last month’s title fight knockout loss to Lamont Peterson produced atypical findings of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, commonly known as hCG. The news came out after a two-week attempt by the Holt camp to obtain test results for both fighters from the D.C. Boxing and Wrestling Commission, who presided over the February 22 ESPN2-televised event.

I still think it was Holt for 1 of 2 reasons. 1st off he had been losing a ton, taking alot of beatens, and was already thinking of retiring. This couldve easily had been his last shot at the big times.

Therefore it was either hard for him to make weight which he has stated numerous times or he was rasining his testerone after cycling off the juice to save his career. Either way that makes more sense to me.

You dont have to trust Peterson but I dont trust Holt one bit either. He cried after the fight about how hard it was to make weight. I dont think he was juicing (although its very possible) but I do think he used it to try to cut weight quickly

The problem is HCG is not only used for weight loss and given PEDerson's past with testosterone... yea.

Also, if consider how shady the DC commission was about this whole thing, who the DC fighter is (who the commission helped already before) and that the tests are not labeled for whatever reason it makes you wonder who the REAL suspect is.

So it was Holt and not Peterson. Let's see what the B sample says. The way the commision has handled this situation leaves a lot to be desired.

Let's look past the fact that Pederson is known to have low-testosterone and btw he has a lucrative TV anticapated fight coming up that alot of ppl don't want upset

If Holt is in question why would he be making noise about the results his team brought this to the forefront in the first place nobody was talking this up until he made it a story or was it gulity conscious

This whole situation seems too shady for me when everything is added up after yesterday I can't say for sure I believe Peterson is clean even though I gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time. Just seems like people have a reason to cover it up for Peterson and put focus on Holt now for moneys sake
