i cant believe so mny people really believe Bradley lost against Ruslan.. he got buzzed, staggered, was in deep trouble, but man....he fought back non stop even when out on his feet and then even rocked Ruslan with some heavy shots and boxed and won rounds. No way did Ruslan win the fight by a landslide, it was a close fight, but I gave it to Tim. It was probably the best Bradley fight i've ever watched

Bradley: "Provodnikov brought out the best in me".

Well, no, actually he beat the crap out of you. I see Ruslan KOing Bradley in a rematch. We'll see. One thing for certain, Prov's net worth rose 10 fold that night.

I had the fight a draw. I respect both fighters and Bradley showed the heart and will of a champion that night. Provodnikov is just as tough too. Ruslan got hurt once or twice and fought on while Bradley got hurt the whole fight and answered with swinging for the fences while out on his feet. He didn't quit, he didn't run, he didn't dive out the ring, or purposely headbutt to have the fight stopped, or DQ himself to avoid dealing with a tough opponent, he met adversity like a man and threw down! He did what all of you want a fighter to do under stress, he did what you criticize other fighters for not doing and yet people now still talk smack about a guy who did it to impress us. What more do you want from a prizefighter!?
Could he have possibly fought smarter and avoided damage? Sure he could have, but at what cost? At the cost of not getting the approval of people who regardless of what you do to entertain them and risk your life every time you fight, regardless of that they still find a new way to criticize you even when you do what they claim they would want a fighter to do. He lost to Pac but he fought him though, he did better than Cotto, than Hatton, than Oscar, than the last Morales fight or the first Barrera fight, he tried to actually bomb back on him. At least we know what lies in his chest and that he's capable of going to that place where many other boxers can't. Bradley earned his respect.

I hope he don't mean that is his best performance he can offer?
I prefer my fighters to win fights beating up the other guy...

            lol

If those two times he got wobbled early were judged as KD's (which they should have if the rules were followed correctly) then you could make a case for Provodnikov sneaking it. Bradley beat the **** out of him in every round and deserved it overall, going toe to toe when he didn't have to and giving us a great fight. Definitely not a robbery in any way.

Despite bradley ducking khab like the plague i gta hand it to him.

He fought like a true warrior.

I had him just winning the fight, close but he was the champ on home soil ;- therefore you want that belt you really gta win by a good few rounds like everywhere else...

A lot of post in this thread are sicking and plain sad..Us boxing fans was treated to a great fight a few weekends ago,and they treat/talk about Bradley as if he still some bum..Bradley has dominated countless opponents only to hear how him beat them did not please the general public..He fights his heart out and does something he truly did not have to do..Still to be met with jabs and taunts..

This is why I hope Bradley knows that no matter what he does,in the eyes of the public he will always lose..He just needs to keep winning in the eyes of the judges..Bradley won't be appreciated until he has hung the gloves up...

I can respect the view of some who believe Bradley should have been called for a KD..The ropes did catch Bradley and hold him up a few times..But I truly respected the refs decision to stay out of this fight..Bradley was so badly hurt that if Pat jump in and gave Bradley and 8 count..Most would have said he saved Bradley, gave him a break and that without it Prov would have ended Bradley..

I think Pat did an outstanding job of letting this fight take form and play out..It was a great fight, not Bradley's best performance..But maybe the best fight he's had..So I kinda understand what he means by saying he brought the best out of him..Respect to both fighters..A night I won't soon forget..
