I expected something dumb like him trying to bring a unregistered gun on the plane.

But it was an unloaded gun registered in cali that he went to get cleared so it not that bad but still was just ignorance on his part. ******, he should have looked into the law because bringing a gun to an airport you better be completely sure you are following procedure.

It seems like an honest mistake, it'd be unfortunate if he faced jail time for it.

They are a huge deal in NYC. Many celebrities have challenged them laws and have all lost. Our mayor is at war with the NRA and the law that made possession a felony just went into effect last month. There's no legal defense to fight this charge

But....given how many of our laws are from legislative (not constitutional) actions and become morose, punishing, special interest tools of suppression maybe they need to be broken. I am all for states having strong laws legislated into action but when these laws are so obsenely ignorant....they should be a recourse.

An airport may be in New York but it is also a place where people go from place to place....Airports have become horrible. New York has horrible represive gun and drug laws and they need to be challenged on the constitutional level frankly. Bloomberg is an idiot

If you dont like NY gun laws, dont come to NY or dont come with your guns and illegal mags. No body forced him to come here with a gun. Not only that but he had mags that wew illegal in Cali as well

I really cant see the problem here. How much danger was he going to be having told them upfront that he had an empty gun that was safely locked away. He probably just didnt know it was any different than home.

NYC law is very clear, you cannot carry a gun without a NY license. His ignorance is not an excuse to breaking the law and they dont care about intent

This guy is an idiot, and all you ****ers bringing up gun rights here need to shut your trap. Anybody who responsibly owns a firearm in the states knows that when you gonna go travel somewhere with a weapon you need to know the legalities of that state.

Someone with that much fame and following should be held even more responsible for his actions.

He wasn't "carrying" it. He had it locked up. Why is it a big deal? He didn't have it IWB or something.

Idk why he even felt the need to travel with a gun in the first place I'm sure he has a security team that could handle any potential threat much better than he could.
