Mayweather destroyed Marquez back then no contest...Mayweather would only do it if he wants bigger ppv revenue/buys otherwise why should he give Marquez a rematch?

Mayweathers not gonna be an idiot like Pacquiao and bulk rushing off his feet off balanced to get hit wide open. Pointless fight to make even Marquez knows he cant beat Mayweather thats y he has no desire to rematch him

How do you know? Not meant to be disrespectful, but would love to see some proof. Got any links? It's not hard to believe. Not much stands in the way of mega-money fights.

He's not due in court until May 14th, he got arraigned today and was released on his own recognizance.

Doesn't mean the fight will go ahead as planned however. I guess it's the waiting game now.

He beat Pacquiao in spectacular fashion but was far from dominating the fight. Pacquiao controlled him outside of that KD(Which he made up) and the KO.

The fight they had back in 09, even though Marquez was bloated, didn't show much signs of beating Mayweather. Mayweather was coming off a long lay-off too. Like everyone says style makes fights and Marquez's waiting to counter is not going to work against Mayweather despite his new muscles.
Everyone has always said to beat Mayweather you have to be very aggressive, and put pressure on him ala Margarito/Paul Williams/Pacquiao type guys.

Look how Cotto fought Mayweather last May. Always pressuring/cornering him, and everybody said that was one of Mayweathers hard earned fights

It would be a biig money fight now though, because people only remember you as by your last fight, and not by what you've done. people are very fickle.

                    -marquez just iced pacquiao
-marquez can put all the PED rumors to sleep
-marquez also has a chance to prove that the weight the reason why he lost to floyd.
Floyd should have rematched JMM years ago, soon after cheating the scales in fact. Not after JMM taking a savage beating by Pac in his last fight and being shop worn.

The weight is the reason why JMM lost to floyd, and dont need a rematch now to prove it.

i don't think pac was dominating either.......the fight was close up until the ko. round 5 was the only dominating round.
