I saw him (Espinosa) score a one-punch KO in two fights with the same American. he moved up in weight to do so. The first one was with a straight left, the second with a right hook (at the '87 Pan Am games)
Do you know the American I'm speaking of ?

Yes that was fellow world champion (165) Darin Allen. He scored a one punch in the first fight but the rematch was an RSC. Espinosa also stopped good Americans Jerome James and Fabian Williams. He dfeated Henrry Maske, Danny Sherry and Otis Grant as well.

Darin, on the other hand, holds the distinction of beating three Olympic Gold Medalists as different weights... Steve McCrory, Henry Maske and Frank Tate.

                  thanks....

I remember those '87 Pan Am games....Seeing Pablo Romero, & some other Cuban fighters whaling on some Anti-Castro Cubans, up in the cheap seats.
Carbajal, Bowe, Savon, Romero, Gould........all fighting.
                  I loved the damn 80's.

I think Andrew Maynard would have beaten Romero had he not sprained his ankle early in the fight. That was Drew's time
