Something about this does not make sense..I mean we do have shooting ranges all over the country right? You don't need to have a license to go to a shooting range, you can bring a legally obtained weapon with you and even in the state of new york cases have been dropped because the gun owner who bought it legally case carrying his/her weapon in a secure manner and following all protocols mandated by federal law. Now this dude had a gun and three magazines empty...Maybe he just bought it legally in ******ia and while on a press tour was working his way on home. I mean seriously a licensed gun owner (albeit out of town) with a legally acquired gun who doesn't even have bullets for it becomes a criminal? He might as well have bought a hot one with the serials off the way they are treating this. Unfortunately for him he had this happen in the middle of the Mayor going to war with the NRA out of his own pockets. This is all for show because I don't think you can honestly present this to a jury with a guy with no criminal history, licensed (albeit in another state), who just came off a massive press tour and is a religious person. Plaxico and wayne's guns where never licensed anywhere to pack heat so the same rules don't apply in terms of jury, case presentation, etc. They can't demonize him in court and that's what they usually use. If anything expect this dude to become a hero of sorts for gun rights activists.

The problem is he broke the law by having the gun, i dont see what people dont get about that. Its against the law to have a gun without a license in NY and you face a harsh penalty for it if you do. He has no legal defense to why he broke the law, which he did.

I also think burress had an expired concealed license in Florida, but that didnt matter

Bloomberg held a press conference and said plax was going to jail and the DA couldn't make a deal. And he caught a td pass to win the ****ing super bowl. Bloomberg is very hard on illegal guns.

I go to the shooting range all the time....you don't need a license, the gun does not even have to be legal cause they don't check at shooting ranges. All you do is listen to a 5 minute rules speech, they give you a card to keep in your wallet so that you don't have to listen to the rules speech every time and you pay your 14 bucks, setup and shoot.

I am as anti-gun as you can get, but that law is unfair.

If you have a license from another state, you should have something like at least a 48 hour window to to submit an application to register. Arresting Guerrero because he tried to declare an unloaded gun upon his arrival in NY is ****ing ridiculous.

It's the division of state and federal govt. He had all the right to get a weapon's permit in NYC, which he most likely wouldnt because of the strict gun laws here. You cant have unlicensed guns in NYC, and he wasnt arrested for it

Yea man, when the hell is Bloomberg gonna step down? I used to like this guy when I lived in Jersey but now... **** this guy. And Im not only saying that cause of what happened with Guerrero.

Im not even gonna get into this **** again. Im disappointed, annoyed and mad at the same time. I was giving RG a legit chance to AT LEAST make the fight competitive but even if they go forward with the fight I doubt he will be there 100% mentally. He is a warrior tho so you never know. This is bullcrap man. I can only shake my head atm.

I had enough disappointments this year with Gamboa being on that suspect list and now this. Scary part is, it's only April.
