I'd love to see this fight and I was a fan of Peterson but no. Matthyse has nothing to prove against a cheater if Peterson needs PED's to beat those other fighters, then off them Matthyse steam rolls him. Peterson should be banned for life if this news is true.Comment

No, just no. I understand that it would be nice to still see Matthysse-Peterson, I was really looking forward to it as well, but the message sent out by letting a drug cheat go ahead with his fight would be extremely damaging to the sport. It would be a complete farce.
Lamont Peterson, as a high level prizefighter, should be done for the foreseeable future. He has embarrassed the IBF who (******ly) bought his 'victim' story the last time around.
What I'm wondering now is whether Lucas actually gets his shot at an IBF world title.Comment
