Actually I think SRR will have a decisive advantage in technique. That being said, Roy will more than make up for it with his speed and sharpness. I see this looking like Jones vs Toney but a lot more competitive surely.

Roy Jones Jr. would more than likely whip Calzaghe's ass in a rematch. You can't coke up for a number of years, get out of shape and then come back a success. Just look what happened to Ricky Hatton the other day.

Prime for prime Roy Jones Jr. would demolish Sugar Ray Robinson.

Robinson threw wide punches and would get countered badly by Roy.

Jones is delusional. He'd be lucky to beat an egg nowadays. And Calzaghe never ducked anyone unlike Jones who fought bums on hbo and wouldn't leave america. Both Kessler and Lacy were favourite to beast Calzaghe and he easily beat them both.

Everyone back then would throw wide punches, as i said the game has evolved. Regardless even if he threw straight punches I still dont envisage Robinson winning

I sensed some animosity from Jones when the guy mentioned Hopkins.

wide punches isn't always a bad thing, in fact for roy who used to love to pull back ray might land something that could quickly bring an end to the fight

i think it'd be a slow paced fight, lots of fienting and single digit landed shots, both guys would be fairly hesitant when they realise the man infront is very fast and looking to capatilise on mistakes

i'd choose roy to win by a clear but close decision, around 8 rd's to 4

Yup and had he stayed at Heavyweight he would have ended up knocking out both Klitschkos. Roy goes down as the GOAT.

I'm a biiiiiiig Calzaghe fan and i'd definately have a prime 90's RJJ over Joe by a fair margin, I think Sugar Ray would get beaten too but it'd be a lot closer

Current RJJ vs Calzaghe, it'd be another beat down for Roy.

I really wish he'd quit soon before he ruins his legacy totally.
