Yes Jones would beat both Hopkins and Calzaghe in his prime, but that's not what he's saying is it?

SRR? Who knows. Would it be weigh in the same day? If so Jones could never make weight. And if it's todays weight standards Ray would never be at middleweight.

Could some boxing history regular on this forum speculate as what weight Robinson would compete in his prime at today?

Prime Roy is too big for SRR, SRR was old at middleweight and Roy would win.

The thing about boxing is that styles make fights. Has anyone actually noticed that the boxing game has changed quite a bit from the times of the great SRR's to the present day. The one thing ive noticed is that a lot of the boxers back then looked more natural and they moved with not a lot of explosiveness but more with finesse, unlike a lot of boxers today (Canelo comes to mind, super explosive but not a graceful mover with his body and feet). Anyway what Im saying is that If SRR fights Roy in his prime it would not have been fair as youre comparing two different eras of boxing that IMO simply do not mesh well. Thats just the way I see it really. I mean I consider SRR by far the greatest but I just dont see him beating RJJ prime for prime.
All due respect to Joe Calzaghe, but for those who claim RJJ cherrypicked his whole career, I dont know what they could call Joe as he returned the favour to RJJ and B-Hop himself. Yes....Hopkins already past his prime when he fought Joe.

Prime RJJ is the best boxer I've ever seen, Calzaghe wouldn't last 4 rounds with him and he's admitted that himself in his autobiography.

Prime Jones beats anyone at 168-175 IMO.

SRR is obviously the harder fight of the two, but I really can't pick anyone to beat prime Roy. Calzaghe has no chance against prime Jones, none....shot to **** Jones floored him ffs.

Im a HUGE RJJ fan but Roy needs to keep those gloves hung on the wall. He's so far past it he doesnt remember what 'it' is

Why are people talking about a 'prime Roy' beating Calzaghe?? Roy said R E M A T C H. He cant all of a sudden click his fingers and get his prime back
