It'd be extremely hard for me to remove any of the fighters in my current top 10.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Even if that happens, he'd be in the top 15, but I don't know about top 10. He still needs some more quality wins to be there.

Not yet top 10 since his resume isn't as deep. around 10-12

Tough to launch a fighter with only twelve pro fights into the top-ten on the strength of one win, but it would indeed be a massive boost to Rigo's credibility. Top 10-15 would be reasonable; the lower half of the top 10 wouldn't be out of the realm of reason.

I think it is how he wins. If as mentioned, a solid no dispute win puts him around top 8-12. If he beats Donaire and someone has Broner ahead of him, that is an insult to the Boxing world. If he edges or is barely edged by Donaire, he deserves a top 15 ranking. I still see a 55-45 or 50-50 fight here. I would make it dead even if not for the question marks of Rigo based on being badly hurt by Merroquin. That is an image that is hard to shake. However, many fighters have been stopped or hurt by lesser punchers and went on to take huge shots against harder punchers and won. Can happen here. I also do not feel Donaire has to stop Rigo to win. He can keep him honest with his power. Nothing surprises me in Boxing and this is no exception. ANYTHING can happen when styles make fights. Decision win either way, early KO for Donaire with a shot to the chin, early KO for Rigo with a body shot....anything can happen.

If it is a comprehensive defeat where he completely outclasses and knocks out donaire over 6-7 rounds, I wouldn't have a problem rating him top 5.

im thinkin around 7 or 8,his lack of pro fights wouldnt really affect my decision here because who he has fought have been mostly top quality bar the likes of casey.........ive so much respect for donaire all round but i genuinely have no doubt he will be torn apart by rigo but as i said if im wrong il be first on to admit it

Considering how respected donaire is right now, if Rigo wins by decision in a tough fight, I'd say top 10-15 would be fair. If he shocks the world and KO's Donaire in impressive fashion, I wouldn't argue with him being top 10.
