No doubt, any European fighter should aim to make their name in the States for the money and recognition. It's also good coz that way the real "fans" out there like you get to know about them if they make it onto HBO or Showtime too lol

I agree with him that without Broner name attached to Burns no one would know or care who he is. Im a boxing fan and ive never seen him fight orheard anything about him till Broner wanted to fight him.

If you're American it's natural you would have heard more about AB, and vice versa if you're from the UK (pre-Rees anyway).

He obviously has to beat Gonzalez first however, by all accounts he is a big puncher.

Burns had his chances to get the Broner fight and never took them. So he should feel free to keep Broner's name out of his mouth from now on.

Gonzalez' career stats look good but he's fought nobody that's anywhere near world class. Doesn't mean the Puerto Rican can't cut it in top company, of course, but it doesn't mean he can either and I'll be much surprised if the ever improving Burns fails to handle this guy in style.
