who remembers when justin morneau got that concussion a few years ago when he got hit in the head by the runner's forearm/elbow at 1B, he has not been the same since

sometimes the concussion is so severe it can permanently ruin your career or at least derail it

They did him a great disservice not stopping that fight. He may have taken the win but the cost...not worth it in the end. He made some fans and got his name buzzing as a FOTY candidate but man listen..he got hit with some russian tanks on fight night. Hope the diagnosis is good but I don't believe this kid will be the same.

Getting an appointment with a specialist can easily take a month or longer. Next month is in 5 days.

Great idea, let every thing settle down first then go to a specialist later. they should be able to find anything that didnt come up at the first series of test when he goes next month.

good ideal. this boxing game is tough on the dome. you want to fight hard and win.but you want to be around and see your family grow up.his children need him just like every child needs their father. mother too.

concussions are almost always diagnosed and treated based on their effects on the concussed over time. you can get a light stinger and be OK in a day or two if you've never had a brain injury. bradley is a pro fighter, and he's been sustaining sub-concussive blows for years, and has probably sustained a measurable concussion before.

if they didn't have a baseline image of his brain they probably took a look at it on the night of the fight. bradley may still be feeling out of it. that's probably why they're going to a specialist.
