NSB is going to be surprised at how good Canelo is, when he handles Trout, after months/years of calling the kid overrated. His technique and skills speak volumes despite the level of his competition. Alvarez is going to blend boxing and pressing Trout and take advantage of Trout's lower output and his (slight) susceptibility to the right cross (a punch that Cotto doesn't use too well).

Marquez' body punching advice should be part of the gameplan and Canelo will use them in his combinations (which are some of the best in the game).

cotto landed some of his signature left hooks to the body of trout and it didn't hurt him at all...so i don't expect canelo to hurt or catch trout to the body that often.

Can you really fault people for calling him overrated? Canelo has fought more WW's for this belt and his signature win is a 40 year old Mosley who hasn't won since 09 and was completely white washed in all his other fights.
