I respect what you just said above...... If you completely look over what I send and still come to the same conclusion you have, I'm fine with that. In one week, Tuesday night, I will send you and others only the latest information which is compelling. The stuff older than 2 years ago never really compelled me either. Its the new material that gets me. I have a calendar reminder for next Tuesday.Last edited by richardt; 03-26-2013, 07:47 PM.Comment

Good for him, going against the grain. I'm not surprised it's just like the Bible said it would be, people rejecting the idea of God and believing in false prophets in the end of days.
I saw on TV just last night, a kid in a college class was instructed to write the word "Jesus" on a piece of paper, toss it on the floor and stomp on it. When he refused and picked up the paper and put it back on the desk, he was removed the class for insubordination and now faces a panel of his peers to decide further punishment.
Now what would happen if that paper had something like "Allah" or another religious name on it? You think the reaction would have been the same? I dunno, this world is just crazy.
I'm glad I believe.....but hey do what you want, believe in what you want, that's why we have free choice I assume.Comment

Ironically, you should be surprised because it's not just like the Bible said it would be. But religious folks can make the ancient story work with whatever is going on in the world or their lives at any given moment.
Believe what you want, but if you're going to be like Guerrero and talk about it all the time, expect those unconvinced by this magical stuff to point out how dumb it is.Comment

The same people mocking god or mocking people who believe will be the ones praying on their death beds.Comment

Anyway, you're free to send me the stuff. I won't say anything more until I get it, but when people say "they've got proof" and "science is coming around", I have heard it before and 100% of the time it's been pseudoscience. Thus far.Comment

Naturally, people tend to doubt their beliefs. Religious people may doubt God's existence during their lifetime, and non-religious people may doubt their beliefs in his non-existence on their deathbeds. This doesn't prove anything either way, of course. But I tend to put a little more weight on the lifetime doubt of the god's existence than a desperate hope for existence when someone is about to die.Comment
