Kessler carried alot of injuries the last time out was not 100% - Froch was injury free so lets see if Froch can cope with an injury free Kessler - Kessler will probably find a way to stop Froch because an injury free Kessler over powers an injury free Froch as Froch has no defence the only reason his had success is he can take punch - he soaks up a lot to be able to dish it out but Kessler is World Class and will always have the beating of Froch. - prediction Kessler by TKO between 9 - 11 rounds.
Not quite, he picked up an ear issue in training prior to the first fight.

Kessler probably does need a stoppage if the fight is close as the crowd will be influential, just as it was Herning.

I have a feeling this one will start cagey and then explode into a war... and Kessler will catch Froch with a bad one near the ropes, wobbling Froch's legs, and after Froch ships another couple of bombs the ref will step in for a Kessler TKO in... 8, I think. Then Bute turns down a Kessler fight and Kessler retires.

        Who wins? I don’t care. I also don’t know.

It’s a fight that needed to be made, and only would be made if the parties involved wanted it.

        It got made.

We are all winners, and the bell hasn’t even sounded.

This fight is an example to ALL boxing promoters and fighters alike.

Sit down, open an ice cold beer, turns the lights down low, and the volume right up. On 25th May WAR commences.

Froch genuinely has no defence,Mikkel has a poor one but his punches are as strong as Frochs,I've seen a wider array of talent from Mikkel.Froch is far too ponderous and cumbersome, maybe he's been in too many fights, maybe he believes what he says as well, the beatings he's taken probably answer for all that talk.Mikkel wins this on better skill,I'd say they're as tough as each other,if Froch believes beating Mack and Bute has propelled him back into the elite then so be it,but the fact remains Mack and Bute can not take a punch,Mikkel can,and has been in with a better class of fighter in Calzaghe,he's more experienced and seems exceptionally sharp,it a shame the same cant be said of Froch.

Can't wait to see this. I know Froch is going to bring that type of fight, but Kessler is very good- but he can be made to look a little robotic. A stoppage of Kessler would be just as, if not more shocking than the Bute KO.

Saying that Froch has no defence is just a lack of knowledge, whenever you step forward against The Cobra there's a big chance that the long, long monkey arms will swarm you with a 4-5 punch combination, so if you choose to engage, Froch sometimes will try to counter directly by trading off, which usually tend to favor Froch because of his Leno. So the defence of the Cobra is mounted in your own offensive, don't believe the hype that he is easy to hit, he got a very good sense of distancing himself and a good ring generalship. He may be slow, but he is akward. I think Kessler has to smother his defence a lot more by being up close, we saw Andre Ward going phonebooth with The Cobra and it worked, nobody in SMW does it as good as Ward though and Kessler likes distance.

true!!....never understood why so many ppl thought Bute would beat Froch....I actually thought he'd take him out late...always knew it was gonna be BRUTAL for Bute though...that was a given....Kessler is a WHOLE different animal...Bute is D League or better yet WNBA...Kessler is NBA....he can actually beat Froch...can't say the same for Bute...thats said, I got Froch AGAIN

since Froch fought Taylor, I've picked against Froch just once....and that was more of a heart pick...I knew Abraham didn't have the style or size to beat Froch but I picked him on the strength he's one of my favs....picked him against Ward, Kessler and all those other cats....so sticking with tradition...I got Froch all day!!

Calzaghe was a long time ago. If you look at their recent history Froch has been in with the better class of fighters.

That's what will make the difference in a close fight I think. The Cobra has kept himself sharp and kept learning by being in there against the best of the best.
