The growing list of Filipino boxers beaten in Thailand continues with three more added to the list on a fight card in the City Hall Grounds in Khon Kaen. In a clash for the vacant WBC Asia Council Continental bantamweight title, 30 year old Filipino Dondon Jimenea (28-21-4, 14 KO’s) lost by an eigth round knockout to southpaw Petch Sor Jongcharoen (Kokietgym) who had a record of 16-1 with 2 knockouts, while in a super featherweight clash over six rounds, Amor Tino (14-13-3, 4 KO’s) dropped a decision to Padjai Yongyuth Gym (15-1-2, 10 KO’s).
