I think this fight will be very good..But what made the Bradley Prov fight crazy is that it was so unexpected..I believe everyone expects this fight to be a blood bath..And in turn that might take away from it..I have to wait and see,but tbh,I thought Bradley Prov was better then Rios Alvarado 1..

This fight may be even quicker in Rios' favor. In the first fight, Alvarado underestimated Rios and was so sure Rios was tailor made for him. He's devastated of the result. His confidence level to beat Rios was probably more than 100 percent in that fight. Where would it come from this time?
Unless he'd do something drastic like adapting an Abril style of boxing. Which is not easy.

It will top it, yes.
It wont top the first fight though, because Alvarado now knows Rios is not to be ****ed with when it comes to inside fighting. He'll try and box, but Rios will get him.

This will be a really good fight but I don't think it will feel as intense as the Bradley vs Provodnikov fight because nobody expected to ever see Bradley brawling for his life

Alright guys, help me out here....
Once again, this fight has been burdened by pre-fight expectations. Their first fight was being built up as the next "Gatti/Ward" war, and it produced fireworks, but nothing close to Gatti/Ward.
It's almost like these guys are being pressured into beating each other's brains out. Why cant the media just allow this fight to be what it is?
We all remember Pac/Morales, Morales/Barrera, Gatti/Ward...those trilogies were allowed to be themselves...they were compared to other trilogies before the first bell rang.
Boxing must have really hit a rough patch, if they're expecting a Gatti/Ward trilogy/war again. I mean HBO was ALLLLL over it, instead of just letting the two duke it out.
NOW, this fight is "expected" to top Bradley/Provodnikov...really? Once again, just let this fight be what it is. It's like the whole, "Who will be the next Michael Jordan?" BS in basketball, instead of seeing some new blood.
Of course this is just my opinion...hope Im not alone on this one.

I feel like Alvarado genuinely thinks the first fight was stopped prematurely and believes he could have continued. If he reviewed the fight, he may have saw himself as the bigger, stronger opponent that was building momentum like a freight train. That being said, I think Alvarado goes balls to the wall from rd 1 and goes right after Bam Bam. Still can't pick a winner yet...
