Why is that confusing to you? DLH was the money guy, not a welter, and had to go down in weight to 147. That was the only weight the fight was makeable. Pac had 0 intention of moving to welter after 1 fight at 135.

Pretty much the opposite for Mosley. The money doesnt compare, was a genuine welter, and even offered to go down to a CW.

I'd like to see him have a farewell fight against a respectable name so that he can retire on a win. That being said I don't want to see him fight repeatedly at a high level, even if he can edge out a win he's at the stage in his career where he will take more damage doing so.

The victories out there won't enhance his legacy unless he beats Mayweather so outside of money continued fights are pointless.

TRUE!!!...I totally forgot about Roach...I guess he'll fight the Rios-Alvarado winner...damn, the reward for them going through hell this Saturday is getting ****ed up by Manny in September ...by the end of this year, one of those dudes(Rios or Alvarado) will be taxed hard!!!

Besides all the up and comers who are trying to reestablish the old way of boxing of "I'll fight anyone, anywhere, anytime", I'm saddened that Pacquiao is the only one left from the guys reaching retirement that still think like that. Mayweather is just about the money and will continue and finish his legacy picking and choosing the easiest fights for the most money, Marquez will retire a b*tch not having given Pacqiuao his rematch even though the man gave him four. In the end of the day, I will grow old and be able to say that I was able to witness the greatest fighter of my time...Manny Pacquiao.

I suspect we have already seen the best of Pacquiao. Mayweather may at last fancy a shot at him and would probably massacre him. And it makes me sad saying that.
