Comments Thread For: Bute-Pascal: Eleider Alvarez-Allan Green is Possible

According to various sources in Canada, rising light heavyweight Eleider Alvarez (12-0, 8 KOs) could very well face Allan Green (32-4, 22 KOs) in a WBA eliminator on May 25th, as part of the Lucian Bute vs. Jean Pascal undercard at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Green has a good track record in Canada and defeated two capable boxer in the country. In November 2011 he decisioned Sebastien Demers in Quebec, and then came back year later to stop Renan St-Juste in Montreal. [Click Here To Read More]

Yeah man....he had Kessler out on his feet but wasn't in shape to finish the job. Hopefully he's focused for what seems to be his last run at a title.

Yup, a shame he couldn't capitalize on the opportunity against Kessler.

I'd love to see Green fight the winner of Pascal-Bute.

A huge outside shot this one but I'm gunna make it I say Lucian Bute will stop Pascal, probably wont happen... But I just think Pascal although a dangerous puncher will play into Butes hands.

            Allan green

Allan ' No Heart Green', what a joke, he fights scared, you hit the guy hard and he hides in his shell, becomes a a survivor, fighting just to get paid.

No he didn't. You obviously don't know what "out on his feet" means he was hurt but nowhere near being out.

Green was awful in his last fight looked like he was walking with 10kg weights on he's getting sparked.

this isn't a show case for green. alvarez likely beats him easily. he barely beat some journeyman canadian last time out.

wasn't in shape? he knocked kessler down in the first round. then he just stood there the rest of the fight without throwing punches.
