Why? He hasn't hurt the sport of boxing and has brought new life and energy to it.

Besides, boxing needs the competition; GB, TP and DKING have been around too long as it is. Do you want them to leave also? Or are you just hating on a brother trying to be productive?

I just don't understand why people are hating on 50 and his boxing venture? The man is trying to make it happen.

He should start small with a bunch of unknown fighters and let it grow through his name.....get a reputation for having a solid system of sparring and training, then let established fighters see his foundation. He shouldn't have to do so much recruiting - he's trying to get results too fast.

if you dont like 50 its for a personal distaste reason...no one can say that he's bad for the sport...what he's done so far as him consistently being in the mix, taking monetary risk and trying to bring a new more upfront-flamboyant approach to promoting is damn good for this sport in my eyes....If u dont like 50...put it aside...so far he has been good for boxing and I think he will continue to.....Sport needs new blood fellas - so why not a new promoter with a boat-load of money and a genuine love for the sport???...lets not be ignorant and stereotypical here...

I like 50's music. Hes still my favorite rapper. The boxing thing is a joke though. He thought he was gonna cash in on being Mayweathers buddy. That didnt work so now hes just doing this to save face and not look so ******, like he genuinely wants to start from the bottom - up. Im not hating on the guy, he just needs to go back to rap. Hes never going to compete with real promoters or even run his own shows. All hes going to do is have one or two B-level fighters who he has to whore out to other promoters as opponents. It works for him cause he gets to skim off the fighters paycheck for not really doing anything besides showing his face, but it sure as hell doesnt help the sport of boxing.
