  • Comments Thread For: Audley Receives Deontay Wilder Offer For Khan-Diaz

Olympic gold medal winner Audley Harrison (31-6, 23KOs) has reportedly received an offer to face undefeated heavyweight contender Deontay Wilder (27-0, 27KOs), according to Pat Sheehan of The Sun. The fight is being targeted for the Amir Khan vs. Julio Diaz undercard, scheduled for April 27th at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena. Last month Audley won his second Prizefighter tournament. Wilder and Audley have sparred in the past, with the British boxer praising Wilder's power. If Audley rejects the offer, Sheehan says Belfast’s Martin Rogan (16-4, 8KOs) is ready to step in and face Wilder. Rogan lost in the second round of the Prizefighter tourney to Audley. He knocked out Albert Sosnowski in the first round.

Why not? This will be Wilder's biggest test.

A lot of pressure on him though since Price already wiped out Audley in one round..

Audley should take it, wilder gains nothing from beating Audley, who's a joke, but Audley might land that left and shatter Wilders glass

I can't believe I am starting to believe in Audley this time around.

Tbh I did think he looked purposeful against Price, not his usual timid self but he just got hit with a sledgehammer right hand.

Too hell with it, come on Audrey, I'm sold!

Audley ko'ing that hype job would be hilarious

People like ross CALIFORNIA have been saying wilder is the American klitshko

Audley actually has some boxing ability, and that's why the fight doesn't happen. Audley's big left sparks Wilder. There's no way around it. Wilder cannot handle Audley's epic ability level of 9000+.

This is a really good matchup.

Audley is on the upswing coming off a solid performance and is in the best shape of his life.

Wilder passed his first test against Price and Harrisson would be a big step up.

I likes it. Audley beating Wilder could possibly end up in a ****in' title shot, to be honest.

Audley beating Povetkin for the belt, now THAT would be ****ing rich.

The only thing that is hilarious to me is that David Haye gave a guy who will be a 5-1 underdog to Deontay Wilder a world title shot and 20,000 half wit Brits showed up to watch. Not even mentioning how many paid for PPV lmao! Now that's comedy!
