I don't see how Canelo is going to win this. Trout can manage distance extremely well and he's going going to take the decision. It's just the mathematical equation of their two styles.

I think Canelo is the superior boxer.

Even if he is untested, canelo is the full package.

Trout will do very well until Canelo's power gets to him. Canelo by TKO/KO rounds 9-12

That outcome would shock a lot of people. Trout may win, but it's difficult for me to imagine him stopping Canelo.

It's difficult for me to imagine Canelo beating Trout by stoppage when he couldn't stop Matthew Hatton, a welterweight that was there to be hit; this fight is going to the cards. I see either Trout earning a clear (116-112) decision victory in a competitive fight or Canelo winning a controversial/robbery decision.

It's a tough fight to call, both guys are very good.

I'm picking Canelo though. Trout had trouble in the first half of the Cotto fight, and I can't help but feeling that Trout being the bigger man in that fight was what made the difference late. Canelo, on the other hand, is the bigger, stronger guy in this fight and has very heavy hands. I think Trout will look to hold a lot to stop Canelo from working in close, but will be broken down by Canelo's size, strength and power.

                Canelo UD.

Im surprised this many people like canelo. I figured he'd get ultra popular though, so i shouldn't be too surprised.

Im going canelo cause he's a boss. Should be a good fight tho.

a war that alvarez eeks out, or a stoppage for alvarez

canelo shouldn't have any reason not to work the sht out of trouts body with those left hooks

Trout will out box Canelo for the first few rounds and look good. Sticking and moving, clinching will work for Trout for the first half but I believe Canelo will eventually get to Trout around the 7th round.

Canelo by TKO or KO in rounds 9-11.
