    One more quick observation:

Alvarez was hit easily and often against Lopez, who was just plain outclassed. It will be interested to see if team Alvarez has improved his defense for this fight, which sees Alvarez taking on a fighter of equal class.

If not, Alvarez could be in for a long and punishing night, and may even get dropped a time or two.

That's what is so great about this fight, there are so many different possibilities and outcomes.

    Should be fun to watch.

145-143 in favour of Trout on the poll.

A proper 50/50 unification fight, in front of a huge stadium audience. This could be brilliant.

Canelo will take it but it wont be easy. Trout is no walk in the park, it can very well become his moment to shine. But Canelo will take it.

I think Trout by decision, because he is not a big puncher.

But this is Canelo's biggest step up in competition by far, so who known what'll happen if he gets caught clean.

The poll result is VERY close, it shows 146 votes for Trout to win and 145 votes for Alvarez to win.

I think people are going to be shocked how much Canelo's body shots are going to hurt Trout.

Wow interesting results. Was just browsing the website for the Ring, and their "experts" were picking Canelo 15-4.

They also picked Rios over Alvarado 2 21-1, and Donaire over Rigo 18-3.

The polls and predictions on these forums are usually a lot more accurate than when the "experts" weigh in. The results of this poll are a clear indication of how close this fight is.

I like Trout by 1 or 2 points.

This is a very difficult fight to pick. I hope we see a good fight and if it goes to the cards, hopefully the right man gets the decision. After thinking about it, with Haymon and all, I don't see either fighter being "safe" when it comes to judging. I don't know if I can take another bad decision.
