I've been so caught up in Rigo/Donaire I haven't even began to get up for this fight yet. OMG, what a back to back 2 weeks.

I think this fight won't look so much different from what we saw last week. Although I'm sure Austin is aware of the backlash Rigo is receiving for his performance; he might have it in his head to apply that kind of gameplan, but to be a touch more active.

Trout is smart enough to know this isn't Cotto who he can exchange with if he wants.

I think Canelo will have trouble getting his feet set to land his combos. If Canelo can cut off the ring to his right (the way Trout should be circling to get away from Canelo's left hook) he may have some success in that department.

Trout will have to come into this fight expecting Canelo to fight hard for all 12 rounds. Canelo has a chip on his shoulder and wants to try to prove his worth as a boxer, so I don't expect Canelo's endurance to be an issue, he has plenty of motivation to be great.

Austin's jab, straight left to the body, and movement will get him a 7-5 type victory.

But judges tend to give rounds to the guy making the fight; being the aggressor. Trout's corner has to be aware of this and make their guy work all 36 minutes.

IMO, Austin has all the advantages on paper, but the things he cannot control seem to be working against him.

11 years ago on Saturday, Castillo was robbed against Mayweather, hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.

All in all I'm just hoping for an entertaining fight, this is my matchup of the year.

Im going to change my prediction slightly. I still think Trout is going to win but I feel i may have over estimated him slightly.

I think this is going to be a very close fight, maybe a couple rounds each way settling it. But im pickings Trout's experience and consistent work to pull him through. I'm still picking him to take quite a few of the later rounds though.

Where he will lose rounds early imo is that when Canelo does land they will be eye catching punches that will take the judges eye.

Cant wait for Sunday morning (Saturday night for you lucky old yanks)

This is why I think if Alvarez wins he might get a fight with Mayweather, whereas Trout won't get a fight no matter what he does. I like Alvarez, but he is one of these fighters who needs you to engage. By jabbing and moving you can beat him.

Last I read was at 35K, but that can go up to 40K. That's pretty awesome for Canelo, the boxer almost everyone here says that he has no USA recognition.
