Sorry if I step on some toes, but IMO Trout will beat Canelo easier than He beat Cotto, who was at least working on throwing punches without having to set up his feet. Canelo looks great once he has set his feet, but not that great while He's moving. Trout is not a great fighter, but has the three tools you need to beat Canelo. A good jab, a good chin and great lateral movement that will not allow Canelo to set his feet. My prediction is that Trout will make Canelo look like an amateur more than 8 rounds.

I think the fight will go that way too. However, I think there is a strong chance Trout gets screwed on the cards

alvarez isnt going down all the way to 154, my guess is he will only lose 2-3 more pounds at most in camp and then cut the rest the day of the weigh in.

in fact this might actually be his fighting weight, 12,5 lbs isnt a whole lot of weight for a man his size to cut. thats why he looks about the same as he does in the ring.

You misunderstand, friend. I wasn't implying he should be 154 already or near it, rather had I not known, had phantom not posted his weight, I would've never guessed he's 166. That's all. In hindsight maybe I can chalk it up to camera angle and lighting, but he looks small to me. Looks like he's 154 weighing in.

Unless they delayed the story and picture for 3 days this was taken the 23rd, the Trout fight was the 20th.

The picture from yesterday was exactly 31 days before the Floyd fight so he should have an extra 3 days to lose 2 pounds.

He will be fine.
