    Carlos Monzon killed his wife too and was a POS yet ppl love him. If Valero held his demons in check, no question this guy would've been an all-time great.

        I liked his fight against Antonio Demarco. That was the only fight you could judge him in with elite competition. It's hard to judge hum in most of his other fights when he KOd most of his opponents in under DOS ROUNDS

            He was doing good, was world champion. I believe Arum was starting to hype up a fight between him and PAC, then he **** it all up by taking drugs and killing his wife.

                      And DeMarco is nowhere near being elite competition himself.It was a dominating performance against a solid contender and nothing more than that.


                      Valero's actual power was grossly overrated.
